Aliyah Ayorinde

Aliyah is an emerging artist currently based in Calgary, AB. Her dance journey first began at Dance Horizons in Dubai, and she has since trained with Dance Spectrum Inc. and Ballet Kelowna. Aliyah strives to further develop her artistry by training in a breadth of styles, and she is in her first season with IllFX Education. As the recipient of the 2021 UBC Black Creative Award and a 2022 APSC Rising Star, Aliyah continues to advocate for accessibility in the arts and education, and she currently serves on the UBC Accessibility Advisory Committee. She is thrilled to be performing with Ballet Bodies YYC for the first time.
