Ballet Bodies YYC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the art form of dance and changing perceptions around it. We showcase dance and ballet in a new light, where passion, love, and artistry take precedence over traditional and unrealistic considerations like age, gender, and body type. We provide high-calibre training and performance opportunities to Calgary’s dance community.
Mission
Ballet Bodies YYC creates a safe and welcoming space where adult dancers can pursue ballet and contemporary training and performance, regardless of age, gender, body type, or socioeconomic background.
