Hunter Loewen

Hunter grew up in Winnipeg, where she trained with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School from 2006 until her 2013 graduation. She attended summer sessions at Koltun Ballet Boston and The School at Jacob’s Pillow, and worked with artists and choreographers including Anna-Marie Holmes, Helen Pickett, Devon Carney, and Mark Godden. From 2014-2018 Hunter taught ballet and pointe at Evolution Dance Company, Masterworks Dance Company, and Industria Dance Centre while completing her Biosystems Engineering undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba. Hunter moved to Calgary in 2018 for medical school, and is currently a resident physician in the University of Calgary Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation program. This is her third season with BBYYC!
