The First Pärt
The First Part is inspired by the introspective and emotional music of Arvo Part, exploring the collective experience of life’s struggles. The piece strives to encapsulate life’s joys and triumphs from our reliance on each other to be uplifted and supported. It touches on the search for meaning in life and our connections to each other and the community. I hope that the ballet inspires each audience member to find their own meaning in the beauty of Arvo Part and be transported by the dancers' creativity and their individual expressions of the movement.
