Mary Bello
Mary, a 2022 University of Calgary Dance graduate, embarked on her dance journey at the Stapleton School of the Performing Arts in Northern California. There, she trained under instructors who had the direct influence of George Balanchine. With nearly two decades of dance training, her technique ranges from Balanchine, Cecchetti, Bournonville, Limón, and Graham, alongside exploration into modern, jazz, theater, and contemporary dance. Her repertoire encompasses ballet classics such as 'Paquita,' 'La Bayadère,' 'Serenade,' 'Giselle,' and 'Don Quixote,' as well as new age pieces including 'Who Cares?,' 'Jewels,' and 'Symphony in C.' She is thrilled to be performing again and a part of Ballet Bodies in Motion II!
