Milena Tomol

Milena Tomol’s ballet journey began in Russia, culminating in a decade of dedicated adult training. She now calls Ballet Bodies YYC her artistic home, entering her third season with the organization. Milena embraces diverse dance experiences and styles, dipping her toes (and hips) in West African, Afro-Caribbean, Ukrainian, Bollywood, Latin and belly dance, imprinting each style on her dance journey. While ballet remains her heartbeat, she also enjoys igniting the dance floor with vibrant Latin moves performing with Mambo Productions’ bachata team. She has showcased her talents at Dance Montage, Unganisha, Dance of Thrones, One World Goes Bollywood and Calgary Salsa Congress. Beyond dance, Milena finds solace in gardening, hiking, and crafting delightfully complicated Excel spreadsheets.
