Kaitlyn Seibold

Kaitlyn Seibold, based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary) AB, is a movement researcher, performer, choreographer, and educator. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Toronto Metropolitan University and an MFA from York University, where she was awarded the Lipson Family Endowment Award for her choreographic promise. Kaitlyn has worked with renowned choreographers such as Vicki St Denys, Louis Laberge-Cote, Robert Glumbek, Ryan Lee, Hanna Keil, Matjash Mrozewski, Colleen Snell, and Apolonia Velasquez, immersing herself in a diverse range of styles and approaches. Currently teaching at Alberta Ballet and performing with Project InTandem and Ballet Bodies YYC, her research investigates the fluid boundaries between physicalized theatre and contemporary movement. With over 30 original works to her name, Kaitlyn’s choreography invites audiences to experience the emotional and physical depths of the body on both stage and screen.

Sierra Oszust

(She/Her)

Sierra Oszust, an emerging Canadian dance artist based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary), Alberta, holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Calgary. With over a decade of dedication to her artistic practice, she has made significant contributions to the local and international dance scene, contributions to several artistic performances and innovative processes. Sierra has performed with W&M Physical Theatre since 2021 and appeared in Crystal Clear and Under The Banner of Heaven, in addition to working with Michéle Moss, Wojciech Mochniej, Melissa Monteros, Chrsitianne Ullmark and Rufi Oswaldo. Sierra's work explores the connection between the physical body and the mind, using imagery and contemporary dance techniques to develop innovative movement vocabulary. Her goal is to create art that brings unexpected ideas to life through dance.

Taylor MacLeod

(She/Her)

Taylor MacLeod is a performer, dance educator and arts enthusiast from Mohkinstsis (Calgary, Alberta). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance, with a concentration in choreography and performance with distinction from the University of Calgary. Since emerging in the local arts scene, she has performed with Kloetzel and Co., WM2, Meghann Michalsky, and Corps Bara Dance Theatre. Taylor has had the opportunity to perform across Canada in Regina’s Stream of Dance, Calgary’s Fluid Festival, Annual Alberta Dance Festival, and Skylines Dance & Film Series, as well as Edmonton’s The Works Festival and Prairie Dance Circuit.


Serenella Sol

Serenella Sol is a Mohkinstsis (Calgary) based dancer, choreographer, and the Founder/Artistic Director of Ballet Bodies YYC. Serenella grew up in Maracaibo, Venezuela, where she started ballet at the age of three. After moving to Canada in 2007, she continued her training in ballet and contemporary dance. She earned her BA in Political Science with a minor in Dance from the University of Calgary in 2013. Serenella danced with La Caravan Company, Jeunesse Company, W&M Physical Theatre and Dancing Monkey Laboratories. Her choreography has been showcased at the Alberta Dance Festival, Fluid Festival, Dance Montage, Alberta Dance Theatre and In Motion I and II. Serenella co-directed two short films, SALOPICA I and II with Callum McCormack, supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and Calgary Arts Development, reflecting her journey as an immigrant, artist, and woman, premiering at CIFF, WildDogs International Screendance Festival and Fall for Dance North (8 Count selection). In 2021, Serenella founded Ballet Bodies YYC, a non-profit organization that enhances access, inclusion, and positivity in ballet and dance for diverse audiences in Mohkinstsis (Calgary).

Beth Durnie

(She/Her)

Originally from Mohkinstsis (Calgary), Alberta, Beth Durnie is a graduate of Arts Umbrella Dance Diploma Program in Vancouver, BC. While an active part of the Vancouver dance scene, Beth had the opportunity to work in-studio with and perform works by various renowned artists, including Crystal Pite, Emily Molnar, and Michael Schumacher, amongst others. Beth has performed internationally with Ballet BC (Medhi Walerski's Romeo + Juliet) and locally with Inverso Productions, Calgary Opera, and Corps Bara Dance Theatre. She has choreographed for the stage and for film, collaborating with various dance artists in Calgary, most notably Serenella Sol. Recently graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, Beth is a dance educator, passionate about sharing a love of movement throughout life. She is incredibly excited to collaborate with Ballet Bodies YYC again for In Motion III.

Reese Wilson

Reese Wilson is a performer, choreographer and educator based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary). Since graduating from the University of Calgary, with a B.Ed and BFA in Dance, Reese has trained rigorously both locally and abroad, most recently in the b12 Research and Dance workshop festival in Berlin, with Stefan Crainic, Lisard Tranis and Josephine Haas. As a performer, Reese has had the opportunity to participate in choreographic processes and perform original and repertoire works by Meghann Michalsky, WM2 Dance Company, Kloetzel&Co, Corps Bara Dance Theatre, Marie France Forcier, Nicole Charlton-Goodbrand, and Karissa Barry. Her self-choreographed, directed and performed film, A Practical Guide to Serenity, was presented at the Ignite Festival for Emerging Artists and WildDogs International Screendance Festival.
