Furthering his development, Scotto attended the Royal Ballet School’s Summer Intensive Programme in Covent Garden for three consecutive years, earning the Royal Ballet Achievement Award in two of those summers. His training provided a strong foundation in classical ballet, technical precision, and performance artistry.

Scotto joined Alberta Ballet as an apprentice, steadily rising through the ranks before being promoted to soloist in 2024. Throughout his professional career, he performed an extensive repertoire of classical and contemporary works, including Yondering by John Neumeier, Brigade by Stanton Welch AM, Bugle Boy by Paul Taylor, The Fiddle and the Drum by Jean Grand-Maître, Allegro Brillante by George Balanchine, A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Bruce Wells, Hansel & Gretel by Loughlan Prior, and The Wizard of Oz by Francesco Ventriglia. His repertoire also includes works such as Romeo and Juliet by Stanton Welch AM and Manon by Sir Kenneth MacMillan.

Since retiring from the stage in May 2025, Scotto has continued to teach and mentor the next generation of dancers alongside his career as a realtor. Drawing on his professional experience and more than two decades of dance training, he is passionate about helping dancers develop their technique, artistry, confidence, and appreciation for the art form.
