Mirko Melandri

Originally from Naples, Italy, Mirko graduated from Harmony Dance School under Maestro Arnaldo Angelini and from the Choreutic High School “Palizzi,” where he studied dance theory, methodologies, repertoire, and dance history, graduating with the highest honors. He further refined his training at the Summer Intensive of the Royal Ballet School in London.

In 2022, he took part in a tour across the United States with The Nutcracker, where he also performed soloist roles. In 2023, he joined the corps de ballet of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, and Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli. In 2024, he was invited as Guest Soloist at the Tirana Opera House, performing the Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle. Later that same year, he joined Alberta Ballet in Canada, where he performed numerous soloist and principal roles.

Throughout his career, he has worked with répétiteurs of William Forsythe, Maurice Béjart, Kenneth MacMillan, Rudolf Nureyev, and Roland Petit, and has also collaborated with Patrick De Bana, Benjamin Pech, Leo Mujic, and Maria Grazia Garofoli.

Among his most significant performances are Hilarion in Giselle, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Benno in Swan Lake, Basilio in Don Quixote, and Aladdin and Rothbart in A Thousand Tales at the Dubai Opera House.
